Every now and then I get to see something really cool. While at the Arkansas Pen Club meeting tonight, at Vanness Pen, I got to check out this Onoto prototype.

While I like demo pens, somehow this one looks visually unbalanced to my eyes with the solid black cap and a clear barrel next to it….especially since the barrel looks a bit narrow next to the cap….
I think a fully clear demo pen, ie, barrel and cap in the classic Onoto style would be very cool….

I agree. It just doesn’t look balanced.
Load that bad boy up with some Noodler’s black and it won’t look as unbalanced. I like it. Probably wouldn’t like the price.
This I think is definetely only a prototype demonstrator not for production just to show how the filling mech works….I think….
Yes it is to show how the filling mech works. It will be available in all black, and with an overlay when it is on the market.
Henry’s bringing some overlays with him to try on the pen to see how they look!
