Recently I made a Townsend from alabaster (the white) with rose and amber tortoise acrylics. This is already a popular color scheme which you can see if you look through the galleries of pens I’ve made.
My client wanted to take it a step further though, by including some of her artwork on it. She sent an image to me which I worked with on my computer to turn it into a vector image. Once I had that done I sent the image to Vanness Pen, and made the drive to Little Rock with pen in hand.
Mike Vanness put the image into his computer and the pen in the laser engraver. We adjusted the size of the image to be “printed” and ran a test on a spare pen we had that was close in size. Perfect.
The cost starts at $60 and goes up depending on time spent working with the artwork. If you have any questions or requests, or would even like something on a pen you already have, send me an email.
Here is the result.
About 147mm or 5 3/4″ closed, 138mm or 5 3/8″ open.
That is soon awesome!!! 🙂
I want something like that (*starts saving even more money*)
this is beautiful….
