This month instead of one pen going out – there will be TWO to ONE winner.  So far you’ve all raised $3194 to give away to several lucky students!  Thank you all so much!  And the year is only half done!  😀

One winner – two pens.

What will I be making?  I don’t know – that’s up to the winner.  The only restriction is that it needs to be made from one of these cool materials shown below.  Well – you don’t HAVE to pick one of these – but they sure are pretty.  🙂  If you do choose any of these, there are size restrictions due to the diameter of some of the rods.  We’ll discuss that once there’s a winner.  😉

Here they are…

First up – a couple of Italian acrylics.  Blue Cowrie and Venetian Gold.

Then some Sheaffer rods!  These are leftovers from the Balance II pens Sheaffer made in the late 90s.  Marbled Amber Glow, Marbled Cobalt Glow, and Jungle Green.

Sheaffer Tiger Eye.

I don’t know what to call these except awesome.  Black and white chunk casein, Tiffany casein, and yellow and green casein.  Or maybe tan and green?  There’s only a little bit of each of these and we’re limited with what can be made, but we’ll discuss that when somebody wins.  😉

And here’s one I think will look cool.  It’s a new black and sand ripple ebonite.  This can be paired with black, or with solid sand for really cool effect either way. 

And I even have a tiny bit of purple web celluloid left over.  🙂

What’s that second pen?  An Edison Pearl in purple web celluloid.

Very Cool!  Here it is.

It comes with a 1.1 two tone steel nib.  Just got word from Brian Gray – if you don’t want the 1.1, he’ll swap you nibs at no charge! Thanks Brian!

AND – another nib has been donated by the same wonderful guy who gave me this pen. So it will come with two nibs! The second is a .8 stub ground by Pendleton Brown.

Rules are the same as before –

The nib choice is totally up to the winner as well.  You can choose steel, any tip size, any grind, or 18k gold, any tip size, any grind.  The winner will have the option of taking the gold nib with the cost coming out of the  winnings, paying for the gold nib, or taking a steel nib.
