| Just got back from Chicago and have updated the store with what sold. I still need to photograph and upload newly made pens, and there are a few of them. 🙂 So keep your eyes open in the next few days for those to go up. This is probably day one. |
| I traveled to the show with Darrell Davis of D Squared Arts this year. We’ve been friends since college, which I think means we’ve been irritating each other for about 20 years now. 🙂 We met in one of our art classes (I think ceramics) while working to become art teachers. He taught about twice as long as I did before retiring from the teacher life. He brought his hand poured resin blanks, and hand sculpted (yes ACTUALLY hand sculpted with rasps and files) fountain pens. He makes the sections and threaded parts in my shop (see what I mean about us irritating each other?) and does all the shaping in his studio. |
And this is day two or three. Who knows?
