Here is a new model I’m happy to introduce. A few people have asked recently if I’d be able to create a pen with a sort of fin on it. I played around with a scrap piece of acrylic earlier and was pretty happy with the results. I wanted to see how it would turn out on a whole pen. So here it is.
I think it should be named the Breaker, which is a synonym for wave. Why waves? The raised bits at either end of the pen remind me of waves.
It was pretty hard to photograph and still show the waves on the ends of the pen. The material I worked with wasn’t very big to begin with so this was as big as I could make the waves on it. Working with something like ebonite, or larger rods of acrylic would allow for larger waves. This is made from an acrylic called Chocolate Chip.
I’m working on a price now, but if you’re interested in something like this, send me an email.
Thanks.
I am not sure I see the waves. But I do love that material. What is it?
I’ve just added a couple new photos to hopefully show it off better, and the acrylic is called Chocolate Chip.
I like it. It reminds of the dorsal fin model. Very nice indeed
Looks Pretty
Thanks!
